Today I tested out an exploding dick arrows mod that a Destructoid reader made.
Yes.
This is how I spent my morning.

Ah, memories. I was rifling through my business cards (a pre-convention ritual so I can get back in touch with certain people for appointments and interviews) and came across these! The business card is from E3 2011, the tear off ticket I believe from PAX Prime. The keychain I threw in for nostalgia’s stake (ffs it needs a bath. Or at least a clean skin retexture mod eh?)
I almost miss the pre-Skyrim hype. It was fun. See you guys at PAX East?

This mod was featured on the BethBlog recently, and rightfully so. And The Realms Of Daedra, which adds a full quest based extensively on the back lore of The Elder Scrolls, is a thing of beauty. The modder’s recreation of Oblivion is impressive, and the research behind the story itself equally so. My only complaint was that it was too short. Description:
In the early days of the First Era the Chimer warlord Ornarol made a pact with the Daedra before betraying them to his own ends. When his deceit was discovered the three Daedric Princes tore his soul asunder, each taking part of his soul as a trophy, leaving bridges between his remains and their realms of oblivion. Embark on a dangerous quest to steal back Ornarol’s Soul and close these gateways to oblivion once and for all.
Upon completion of this mod you receive two Active Effects: Ornarol’s Guile, which improves Speechcraft and Bartering, and Ornarol’s Strength, which gives you a higher carrying capacity.
Download it over the Steam Workshop or at the Nexus Forums.

If you desire a dash of the delusional for your Skyrim file, then Uncle Sheogorath’s Really Helpful Hints And Tips is the mod for you. The hints and tips, replacing the traditional load screens, are far from helpful, but they are hilarious:
“You fight poorly when you’re exhausted. Didn’t you notice? SLEEP MORE. You’re looking awfully pale. It’s not Ataxia. OR LUPUS.”
“Shooting things from a distance is fun- and convenient if you want to toast your kill over an open fire afterwards. Bread is good. Not much sport, though.”
“Jail is BOOORRRING. So always shoot to kill!”
There seems to be a Sheogorath version of every screen, so the mod should amuse you for awhile at least. Download it through the Steam Workshop or the Nexus Forum.
